Hello GOGO Gals,

I am in the porcess of buying a house, I have moved out of my old one and moved into the in-laws house, it is far away (an hour drive to work) but the diggs are pretty nice.  I am waiting to close on my house. The anticipation is obnoxiously painful.

What is more painful is the lack of social life that occurs when you live so far away. =( It is devestating.  I have been to a few bars that I would like to share with you. The first is in Fountain Hills, it is a sports bar with a fancy flair to it.  The staff is friendly, the place is very clean and the food is so yummy, All-American Sports Grill, offers burgers, sandwiches, wraps, appetizers, salads, pizzas and entrees.  The appetizer menu ranges from chicken wings, nachos to crab cakes and caprese. The entrees consist of an amazing cajun chicken alfredo, I know from experience, grilled salmon, roasted chicken and more. If you in Fountain Hills, make sure to stop by this place.  I am not sure what their night life is like but it is definitely a good dinner or lunch desination spot, plus you can still on the patio and watch the fountain. Very relaxing!

My next outing was to Gilligan's in Old Town Scottsdale. They have expanded their patio!!! Hail! Hail to the patio victors at Gilligan's finally a patio that can be used. We went there last Saturday, the place was busy but not uncomfortably packed and with the addition of the big patio there was room to move around.  I ate their for the first time and it was really good. Our group had fried artichoke hearts, chicken strips and cheese sticks. Everything was good and although fried was not very greasy.  I am so excited about their patio and can't wait to go back. The best part of Gilligan's is that it is a place for all ages, well all ages over 21.

This weekend is ASU's homecoming, starting at 12pm there will be a parade, kick-off party and then the game vs Colorado!! Come cheer for the Devils!!

Have a great weekend GOGO Gals. Let me know where you go and what you like!

Can't wait to hear your weekend stories!

Hello GOGO Gals,

I am very late on last weekends outing.  I apologize!

College football Saturday was spent watching the ASU game at Zipps in North Scottsdale.  The waitress was friendly and very attentive. The nachos were amazing and they use REAL cheese not the sauce, I am not a fan of the sauce.

Ladies if you are a college football fan or the girlfriend or wife of a college football , I do not recommend going there. They are not very adequate at televising all the games that are being shown, when ASU is on the TV.  I am a huge Sundevil fan but I also like to be able to see other games that are on.

Saturday night after freshening up we headed to Shotgun Betty's. I love this bar there is always hot guys there and the music, if you love 80's rock, is great. (I do. lol) The service is pretty good, as well as the prices for Old Town.  It was packed as usual on Saturday, however, it seemed the majority were males. A good place to hunt for all you single ladies.

Sunday was a day of recovering and build your own Bloody Marys at Dukes Sports bar in Scottsdale.  I love any place that I can make my own Bloody Marys.  If you love the NFL and want to watch all the games it is a great place to go. Remember though this is a man's man sports bar so it is loud and sometimes filled with obnoxious fellas! =)

If you live in the South Scottsdale area and are going to a Cardinals game, Duke's offers shuttling to and from the game for a nominal fee.

I am headed to Tempe this weekend to partake in Sun Devil mayhem.  All you ladies out there have a great weekend.  Feel free to tell me about it on Sunday, I would love to post your stories!

The Arizona State Sundevils came to play on Friday night, the game was intense, the players full of energy and the stadium rumbled as excited fans hollered for our beloved Devils.  Even if your not a football fan, ladies, you should go to a game at least once in your life and definitely tailgate before hand. It will show you a new light to the game and the obsession.

It was great to see Tempe alive with people after a hot boring summer.  This weekend brought in fans from Mizzou and alumni from all over.  The city was packed and very energetic.

Saturday night Rula Bula was off the hook, the food is amazing, fish and chips are my favorite.  The 'Snakebites' were poured to perfection. The band started at 9pm and went until almost 2am.  A cover band that put their own spin on some classics and some not so classics.  They had a lot of energy and sounded great.  Not too loud.  They packed the dance floor.  Rula Bula has no set age group that hangs out there.  You have 21 year old and up I would say the average age in the bar on Saturday night was probably 35.

If you want to go out in Tempe and not have to deal with the "college" crowd Rula Bula is the spot to be.

Ask for Zack, he will pour whatever your flavor is with a quickness and a smile.

The Lodge on Saturday night was off the hook and packed.  They pack in all types there, making the atmosphere fun and entertaining.  The drinks were flowing and the prices weren't too high, considering we were in Old Town.  Everyone was out to have a good time on this Labor Day weekend. Check back actual weekend antics tomorrow.
